Kharkiv will host Ukrainian Cup final

FFU Executive Committee held its session yesterday at the Football House. One of the first items of the agenda was the composition of permanent committees and commissions of the Football Federation of Ukraine. Olexandr Bandurko was reelected as the CEO of the Federation and Vasyl Zabroda became his deputy. Kostiantyn Vikhrov was elected as the technical director of the FFU.

The majority of participants voted in support of the Premier League creation in Ukraine. The Federation offered any theoretical and practical help for the implementation of this historic initiative while mentioning that regulations and structure of the new organization should not contradict UEFA and FIFA regulations.

In addition it was decided to conduct the final match of the Ukrainian Cup 2007/08 at the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv. For the first time the cup final will be played outside Kyiv. This decision was timed to the centennial anniversary of football development in Kharkiv.
