First leg - 0:2. Dynamo are through to the semifinals.

Dynamo didn’t wait long and charged straight away. Just two minutes into the game Ninkovic found Bangoura in the area, the Guinean forward lost his marker and headed the ball into the right corner – 1:0.

Hosts began to attack less and Tavriya began to cross the centre line more often. On 12 minutes Joksas even shot from 25 meters allowing Lutsenko to stretch himself. Dynamo responded immediately as Bangoura took the ball off Stoyan, entered the penalty area and shot into the near corner but missed.

The game grew equal. Ljubenovic was the most active Crimean player at that time and he won a dangerous free-kick in 22 meters from Lutsenko’s goal. Tavriya’s Markovic hit the wall and in the response attack Dynamo’s Markovic checked Kozachenko’s alertnerss with a powerful shot.

Towards the end of the first half hour of the game Bangoura shot on the volley from the 11-meters spot but the ball ricocheted behind off the turf. On 38 minutes Oleh Husev’s shot from 23 meters turned out to be too difficult for the keeper and he failed to stop him. The result of the two games was equal – 2:2, and Tavriya had to start from scratch.

Fomenko’s players tried to do this. Kovpak’s shot from outside the area was saved by Lutsenko, then the keeper smothered Holaydo’s cross into the six-yard box at Idahor’s feet. In response Shatskikh headed the ball over the bar after Husev’s cross. At the end of the first half Ninkovic was tripped near the edge of the penalty area but the midfielder hit the wall from the free kick and Bangoura who was first to the rebound fumbled the shot.

The second half like the first one started with a cold shower for the visitors. Husev was brought down in the Tavriya’s penalty area, the referee pointed at the spot and Bangoura smashed the ball under the bar – 3:0.

Visitors attacked more as time went on and hosts felt more comfortable and dropped pace. Tavriya had more time to organize their attacks and threatened Lutsenko’s goal more often than it was in the first half. Dynamo responded with counterattacks but they weren’t effective, like on 84 minutes when the fast three-move combination involving Rebrov and Ghioane ended with inaccurate shot by Milevskiy from the edge of the area. Immediately after that Homenyuk had a great chance to take his team ahead on away goals as he ran away from Dopilka and shot from 5 meters but Lutsenko saved it and Gavrancic cleared the ball off Kovpak’s feet.

Towards the end of the game Ljubenovic took a dangerous free kick causing havoc in the area but it also led to nothing. The game ended with 3:0 victory that took Dynamo into the next cup round.
