Rabinovych offers Shufrych to become the president

Ukrainian Premier League members meeting took place in Kyiv in the Kyiv hotel.

Issues of the Ukrainian Premier League registration and functioning, TV rights, technical issues and many other problems were discussed.

Our correspondent asked FC Arsenal Kyiv president Vadym Rabinovych to comment on the meeting. He was brief but still said something:

- The meeting was very useful and important, and many controversial questions were discussed. Luckily almost all of them were solved and I want to say that again: Ukrainian Premier League has been created! Now we need to settle some technical details. It's like a baby - he is already born but now he has to be washed, swaddled, given a nipple and brought to the people.

- Have you elected the president of the Premier League? Who are the real candidates?

- There was no election. I think this question will not be discussed until May 15 when the presidents will gather for the next meeting. However according to the results of this meeting my opinion is that the most realistic and active candidate who can consolidate all club presidents is undoubtedly Nestor Shufrych. His participation pleasantly enlivened today's meeting and shortened it at least by half. I give my vote to Nestor Shufrych.
